Terms of Service
Last updated October 2026
Jitter sells virtual private servers (VPS), virtual dedicated servers (VDS) and related infrastructure work, hosted in Chicago. Buying or using any Jitter service means you agree to everything below.
-
You're licensed, not sold
Your server and anything else we provide is licensed to you by Jitter for as long as your service is active. You don't own the hardware or the network it runs on.
-
We can end service at any time
Jitter may suspend or terminate any service at any time, for any reason, with or without notice and without giving a reason. Termination doesn't entitle you to a refund, full or prorated.
-
Nothing illegal
Don't use Jitter for anything illegal. That includes, but isn't limited to, hosting illegal content, launching DDoS attacks, sending spam, and attacking or scanning systems you don't have permission to touch.
-
Fair use
CPU, RAM, storage and network capacity are provided on a fair use basis. That includes bandwidth: our unmetered ports have no transfer cap or overage charges, but unmetered is subject to fair use. Some of it, network ports especially, is shared with other customers. You can burst up to what you paid for, but you can't sit at that level for long stretches. What counts as fair use is decided by Jitter staff.
-
Your server, your responsibility
Anything done on your service is on you, whether you did it or someone you gave access to did. Everyone using your service is bound by these terms.
-
All sales are final
Once you've paid for a service, there are no refunds, full or prorated, for any reason.
-
No SLA, no uptime guarantee
Jitter doesn't offer an SLA or promise any level of uptime. Outages, downtime, maintenance and other disruptions don't qualify for refunds, credits, compensation or extra service time.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms at any time, and we'll let customers know when we do. If you don't agree with an update, email hello@midtsy.xyz within 7 business days to opt out and cancel your service.
